Is 3D Printing Worth the Hype?

3D printing got its first recognition in 2010 and since then, the printers are touted as the technology for the consumer. Objects are built in small layers, stacked on top of each other one at a time. Extruder is used to create two dimensional objects and filaments are used as ink for the printing. The melted filaments are then pushed out of the nozzle of 3D printers to make layers of objects.
